Hum Ek Hain 1993

Sahyog Foundation, a socio-cultural organization, has planned a cultural programme "Hum Ek Hain" next month with a view to promoting National Integration which is the need of the hour, according to its Chairman, Mr. Ram Jawhrani.

A galaxy of eminent personalities from different walks of life would come together on a common platform at the function and deliver "Shanti Sandesh".

The film industry has always been a symbol of National Integration and its contribution to the society in this regard is tremendous, Mr. Jawhrani said in a statement here.

Prominent film personality, Mr. G. P. Sippy, who has offered all support for this programme, lamented over the recent disturbances in the city and said the film industry suffered badly during the last two months.

Mr. Sippy has appealed to cine artists to come forward and participate whole-heartedly in this programme which shall feature a musical entertainment by Kalyanji-Anandji.

The focal point of the spectacular show would be establish direct contact with the masses and therefore Sahyog Foundation would endeavour to invite all sections of the population in large numbers, according to Mr. Pahlaj Nihalani, film Producer and Chairman of Reception Committee.

Prominent personalities from different walks of life, including top film stars, would come together on a common platform to deliver "Shanti Sandesh" at "Hum Ek Hain" programme organized by Sahyog Foundation, a socio-cultural organization, on March 14, at Andheri Sports Complex.

According to the Chairman of Sahyog Foundation, Mr. Ram Jawhrani, the focal point of the programme is to establish direct contact with the masses through their favourite stars to drive home the message of peace and harmony which is the need of the hour.

Film thespian, Dilip Kumar, would inaugurate the programme and light the ‘Peace lamp’ while the Mayor of Bombay, Mr. Chandrakant Handore, would be the Chief Guest at the function which shall also feature Kalyanji-Anandji Nite.

Film producer and Chairman of Sahyog Foundation's Peace Committee, Mr. G. P. Sippy, said that those film stars who have contributed their mite to the cause of national integration would be felicitated on the occasion.

The Chairman of “I love Bombay” organization, Mr. Nana Chudasama, former Sheriff of Bombay, Mrs. Bakul Patel, eminent Cardiologist, Dr. B. K. Goyal and Renowned journalists, Mr. Vishwanath Sachdev, Rahul Dev and Madhav Gadkari would be the Guests of honour, according to film Producer and Chairman of Reception Committee, Mr. Pahlaj Nlhalani.

"Hum Ek Hain" programme on National Integration of Sahyog Foundation, scheduled to be held at Andheri Sports Complex on March 14, has been postponed in view of "tragic" incidents of Friday, according to the Chairman of the Foundation, Mr. Ram Jawhrani.

The annual awards of the Foundation would now be presented to the awardees at a later date.

Mr. Jawhrani appealed to the people to maintain communal peace and harmony and remain united in condemning the forces responsible for the blasts that rocked the city yesterday taking a toll of over 200 lives.
